The virtual conference describes the basic terminology related to Diversi-ty, Equity and Inclusion. The American Dental Education (ADEA) Access Diversity and Inclusion (ADI) Framework is presented as well as other available resources for dental education.

Dr. Ana N. López Fuentes
Professor and Former Dean (2014-2018), from our dental school. She has a Public Health Master’s Degree and Fellowship in Executive Leader-ship in Academic Medicine (ELAM). In 2018 completed the yearlong Leader’s Roundtable and the Achievers Program from the Bell’s Leader-ship Institute. Elected 2023 Chair-elect of the ADA Board of Directors, First Puerto Rican and 10th Woman to Chair in 100 years Elected Member of the Hispanic Dental Association Board of Trustees. She has a certificate in Dental Infection Prevention and Control from OSAP and the DALE Foundation.
University of Puerto Rico, School of Dental Medicine is an ADA CERP recognized provider. ADA CERP is a service of the American Dental Association to assist dental professionals in identifying quality providers of continuing dental education. ADA CERP does not approve or endorse individuals courses or instructors, nor does it imply acceptance of credits hours by boards of dentistry. University of Puerto Rico, School of Dental Medicine designates this activity for 2 hours continuing credits.
